H: This is the note that means the guitar stopped working halfway through the song. [depresses key] Hi. Does everyone have sunscreen on?
[HOLLERS]
H: You know it's not effective unless it's waterproof and above 30. Hi. Hasn't anyone eaten the food at the festival yet? No, not yet? Nobody's eaten food yet. What about drinks?
[HOLLER]
H: Yeah. What did you drink?
WOMAN #1: Beer.
H: Beer.
WOMAN #2: Margarita.
H: Margarita. Anything non-alcoholic?
MAN: Water.
H: Water.
0:08:23 FOCUS TO M'S CRISIS
M: We're going to get another amp.
H: Um.
M: One of these twins.
H: This is really fun. If you guys are ever in a band I hope that you can have this experience. 'Cause this is fun.
0:08:40
H: [LAUGHS] You're all excited 'cause you're going to play Sunset Junction, and you practice like a whole bunch -- the music, you know -- and then half the set is me talking.
[LAUGHTER]
MALE #3: Drum solo.
H: No, whoever said drum solo is in trouble and it won't happen.
[LAUGHTER]
ADAM: Come on Julie. Play some drums.
H: Huh? [Plays random drums]
[HOLLERS]
0:09:25
H: Are you a walking advertisement? Sweet. Everyone look at her. Foreign Born record release with Ivanka and In Waves, Tuesday August 21st at The Echo.
0:09:40 AUDIENCE SHOT
H: And incidentally it's the Earlimart record release, Tuesday the 21st at Jensen's Recreation Center, and we'll be playing that, and hopefully there won't be as much talking and drum solos.
0:10:00 LULLABY
H: I'll sing a little song, how about that? [Sings] This is like a sign from God, seriously right now. Um, there's something else I wanted to say. Is everybody happy?
[APPLAUSE]
H: You know life is all a state of mind.
[LAUGHTER]
H: Like right now my life and if you can be happy right now you can always be happy. I don't know if anyone cares about that but it's true. And -- hi. So we -- this is really amazing. This is like the worst nightmare, literally.
[LAUGHTER]
H: I don't know if it's worse for me or for Marc.
M: It's worse for me.
H: Worse for him. I don't know.
0:11:50 BACK UP
[HOLLERS]
H: Okay. Who can tell us how much time we have and what we have to cut out?
VOICE: It's 1:34.
H: It's 1:34? Oh, sweet.
0:12:20 WSH
0:17:40 MELTDOWN #2
M unplugs and goes direct into amp.
0:18:35 MELTDOWN #3
M: That was painful again, but this is the root of the problem. So does anyone want to see me get destructive with this pedal?
[HOLLERS]
[AUDIO of M throwing pedal. Laughter]
M: I hate that thing.
H: You're probably going to get sued for that now.
M: I might.
H: Did you see how softly he threw it. He's like, "Maybe I can pick it up later."
[LAUGHTER]
M: Give me a second. I want to plug back in. It was that pedal. Thanks for your continued patience.
H: Thank you for your continued patience. I really hope a lot of you are seeing us for the first time. I hope a lot of you are my parents too.
M: I just want to get this thing plugged in now.
0:19:53 LOVE LIES

H: Thanks for witnessing the dias -- I mean rock.
00:32:30 FINISHING UP
DIZZ: Let's here it for the Pity Party everybody. They were great. The Pity Party. Let's hear it. Thanks for coming to the Sunset Junction Street Fair you guys. Stick around this is the stage to be at. There's a list of bands...[etc.] [WHOOPING SOUND]
